After professing my love to get a kitchen using mixed-metal finishes, it got me wondering if the mixing of metal finishes is acceptable elsewhere, upon which I immediately understood, of course it is! In a bathroom. Do not feel as if you have to match everything when it comes to specifying the decorative hardware, plumbing fixtures and lighting in your bathroom. Mixing metals adds intrigue and measurement.
My idea of a perfect bathroom is one having a gold chandelier, bright nickel fixtures and maybe even a bit of brass hardware.
